We are proud to announce that we have added subversion repositories to our list of services offered to our users and at no extra cost to our current plans!

A new site has been added to the server today. The Vendetta plugin repository is your one stop location for downloading and rating your favourite plugins or for hosting plugins you have created.

A new site has been added to our ranks shop4avon. As you can guess this site specializes in Avon products and team building.

The new service we have added includes all normal features except that we here at Spenced handle any administration required. You have 10 new e-mail accounts that need to be added? Tell us and we add it. Need a new table on your database? We set it up for you. Need your mailing list moderated? Give us your criteria and we’ll moderate. We will be your IT dept in the sky. Below is an excerpt from our hosting plans:

Assisted services management plan for $5 a month

The same services as the first plan plus:

• Setup and management of databases
• Setup and management of mail accounts and mailing lists. Mailing lists are a perfect way to keep in touch with customers or employees!
• DNS server management
• Installation and setup of most php based web services eg: PHPBB, Gallery, Media Wiki, etc
• Monthly backup of data

This plan is perfect for the person or business looking to have a service or website without the hassle of an IT department or in depth knowledge of server administration. We at Spenced will set up and monitor  your services for you all you have to do is upload your content! This plan also comes with a monthly backup service to ensure your data is safe.

The WordPress installation has been updated to the latest version 2.8.4. Release notes on that update are available here

Seems the only news I ever post about is launching a new site but this is a change for the better.
